Old school is the Latitude LX 486 laptop I still use (running Linux, of course). Older school: the 8085 I built for school, which I still have, but don't use for anything (it's only qualified for use as a controller). I don't like retiring old technology because there aren't enough places for it to retire to, and landfills suck.
Unfortunately, I no longer have an excuse to not play Counter-Strike, the only non-poker video game I've been into since Burn: Cycle.
Audition: if they wanted to hear you sing, why didn't they just cover a song you know, instead of putting you on the spot to invent lyrics? I would think the latter would require more intimacy than you're likely to get when you first meet a group of people. But then, I've never auditioned to sing, so I really dunno wtf I'm talking about [smiles].

It's kinda funny: I have permission to conceal, but no, I don't own one (there are reasons), although I stand to inherit a 17 (and several high-cap magazines!), someday. Still, it's sometimes nice to know I can quickly acquire one should it become necessary.
I think it's the "simple and effective" I like about the Glockits artlessnessalthough I do appreciate your appreciation of artistic craftsmanship.
