So, today was arts and crafts day at the apartment. After fielding some complaints about not being able to tell if the dishes in the dish-washer were clean or dirty, I decided to make one of those magnet signs that you flip around, saying "clean" or "dirty". It came out as a picture of Britney Spears pre-whore-look with "So fresh and so clean!" above it,...

Yah Man,

Job/girl/money/change... it's always a piece of work.

Anyway, forgot one really good resource if you're still into taking care of that blade. http://www.swordforum.com

Today begins a full week of nothing to do. And I'm being literal here...Wednesday, I have a four hour courtesy shift. And Friday, of course, is the SG show. Those two events represent my entire schedual for the next seven days. So, listen, if you want to meet, hang out, maybe talk pirate jokes at a local coffee house or bar, by all freakin' means,...

You could always hit up the Rollins spoken word tour... he's in Ann Arbor on Sunday. There... that's another thing for you to do. Otherwise, it's about the same for me since Friday is the SG show, and the wife and I aren't doing on the 14th since we are getting tattooed instead.

Just wanted to say thanks for style advice!

Gorging on Sake, knock-off brand pop-tarts and Chicken In A Biskit all night is a good way to lull yourself into some useless state where you might as we not be awake, but you can't fucking sleep either.

I'll be going to the SG Burlesque Show at the Magic Stick on the 13th. It should prove an excellent way to spend a day synonymous with...

Nuts. Looks like I didn't get the editor position I applied for on here. I wasn't expecting to though. There were probably thousands of apps, and my entry was piss-poor at best. My heart hasn't been in writing in the last three months...much to the dismay of my Live Journal followers.

I can't seem to find my place in the world though.

That aside, I'm...

Hey sorry about the editor position. I know it must be a cool thought to think you can contribute to this great site in some way.

What do you do in real life anyway? Are you looking for a job in the same field or are you looking for something different?
_sarah_:
MIT? Do you work at Domino's?

3:30am. I'm having more and more trouble pulling myself away from the message boards on this site. Thats okay, I suppose. I already sleep at strange hours of the day and walk around the rest of the time in some sort of mobile hypnogogic state. So I don't think I'm hurting myself too much by posting random shit on here while dawn fast approaches.

Low...

Years of ninja training has given me such hand-eye coordination while on register at work that my hands move smooth and swift like water over pebbles in a riverbed. Yet, I still managed to paper-cut myself with a crisp new one dollar bill right on my right index fingertip. Typing, at the moment, has become a carefully planned and strategic process, reselmbling more a hearty...

You know that relationship thing? Yeah, I'm pretty sure I fucked it up last night. Par for the course, with me, I guess. I get too analytical. I have a feeling she wants to explore "other options" too. In fact, she's on a date with someone else right now. Why would I bring it up? Because I thought about it and realized I didn't really...

Started as "Mystic Knights of Oingo Boingo", changed to "Oingo Boingo" which lasted the longest, then just "Boingo". There may have been a period where they went by "Mystic Knights" but I can't remember off the top of my head.

I think the neighbors just threw up a challenge. It used to be us who had the parties that got loud and filled the yards between the complexes with wandering smokers (hey, you can do ANYTHING but smoke in my apartment). It seems they have chosen to pick up the flag we seem to have dropped and run with it tonight. And it's only 9pm....

Alright, so I wanted to change my user pic on here, but it seems that against some magical rule that only manifests at 3:30am to piss me off. So for now, I threw the pic in my gallery. I dunno, tell me which one you like better, this current one or the new one. Should be titled 08.jpg.

Anyway...seems to be some awesome line interferance...

I'm the market for a new tattoo. In keeping with my others, they have to have some obscure meaning in my life. I'm thinking of going the "ancient religions" route this time, seeing as how I've been poking my nose around in alot of Gnostism lately. My first idea is a chnoubis, a lion-headed snake that was a Gnostic seal for protection against poisons and...

I like the image of the Asclepius Wand. I was thinking of a snake slithering like how it is sometimes depicted on Athena's shield. Then, with that, I was going to put in an evil eye - not really evil, but that's what I call the Greek eye that is supposed to ward off the evil eye. I can't decide if I want one or two - two for symmetry and for the two snakes the Minoan goddess is holding in her hands (death and rebirth).

I'll be curious to hear what you decide on!

There's nothing quite like trying to burn out the rest of a candle from it's holder and clumsily dumping a load of hot wax on the palm of your hand and up your arm, realizing that it doesn't hurt nearly as much as you thought it might.

Which makes me wonder what the hell the big deal is with it in those pain fetish videos...

sorry, i'm a lousy seamstress. i once put together a thick wool plaid pleated skirt, as my first sewing project. . .well, you can imagine the outcome! i 've never looked back.

i'm afraid i'm not much on booze and drugs either (anymore that is). maybe you could hold a 420 bake sale to raise $$$.

we could add milk cut and kid loco to mix it up for the party. who else would you like to see at the turntables?

Coo. thanks for the Astronomy recommendation. I'll check it out, Yea its a pretty kick ass class. I think I'm gonna go to Northern Cali soon and get to some secluded area and get a better view... living near SF doesn't help.
