I agree with Chris Rock, and I don't.

I agree that more artists need to be saying something of value and weight. And right now, our mainstream musical acts aren't even interested in making their music political, or taking a chance and speaking their mind.

However, their are plenty of band doing just that. You'll just never hear anything about them.

When MTV, and corporate radio rules the msuic industry, you'll never get to hear someone say something that might upset the status quo.

Of course, I've never really liked overly-political music acts to begin with...I think most bands corner themselves into being "political" artists, and suddenly they lose the range of emotions and thoughts that an artists in generally allowed to express through their work. But I admire people like Public Enemy for having such a strong message, and never losing focus of that message.

But I digress...

It's funny; sometimes I wish I could go to work on the weekends, just to use the computer, as well. It's an addiction, man! smile

Dan Marino is the reason I became a Dolphins fan.

The first NFL game I ever watched on TV was the Dolphins versus the Bills and for some reason Marino became my favorite player.

The main reason I like the rest of the Detroit pro-sports teams are: Alan Trammell,Lou Whitaker, Steve Yzerman, and the Bad Boys Pistons.

The Lions did have Barry, but I just liked him, not the team.
