I'm feeling way too frustrated at my PC right now to write out the Journal entry that Tryst and her band deserve.... I seriously almost kicked my Dell right in its Pentium nuts an hour ago, I HAVE HAVE HAVE to get rid of Windows Millennium next week, as I'm really on the verge of an Almodovar-sized nervous breakdown here (and I can only hope Windows ME is the problem, or else major diagnosing is needed)...

but anyway, screw the PC, I will just go out for some fresh air, but first say-- Tryst and the Rockbot rocked my butt (my rockbutt, you could say) last night in Bal'm'r. Thanks much, L, you are a new-wave wizard!

If you aren't aware, the band has online sounds ( hear here ), but Tryst is still recording the vox for her stuff, as she recently joined up with them.

late-nite edit ps-- Uhh, lesse, a more deserving description of Rockbot? Well, T and her bro are manning the stun-synths, the bass player, in the words of Homestar, is kinda "the guy who runs everything around here" since (I read) he founded the band and does some key vox, the guitarist is a funn dee-ewd who rocks the Marshall plan, and the drummer... well, you know drummers whatever (haha, psyche!! Tryst is a high-school honors synther by day, but a Hollywood drummer by night [bonuses to anyone who gets the reference]).
The headliners were nice, too. If I read the poster correctly, they are Karmella's Game, and they were all decked out in Catholic school uniforms... believe it or not, there's more. The singer/ synther had her own bank of herculean synths send Rockbot cowering (only temporarily, damn it! It's a cold-analog-war of escalation) and they were a spazzy band to look out for. My only complaint (and this is a rare opinion for me) but I think they should work in even more slow songs, as they're good at them... but maybe my opinion is flawed from exhaustion.

Special witness testimony... heh, I'm sure those two fatties died of a natural cause of an arterial burst of pure crisco from their jugular veins... The freakish thing is, why the motorcycles... they dont look like normal motorcycles as if they were using them to scale... What did they do for fun? Did they have some minor popularity? Did they get some play from it? Do they know somehow that people still remember them, even though probably only a few people could tell you who Aung San Suu Kyi was, even though her role in life was infinitely more important than being the size of a refridgerator with a television set on top.

Damn straight he left the house!! And he also left the club without saying goodbye!!!! mad But that's ok, Cheecherson -- I see you have penned a funnytime review of the gig, and I am pleased. I especially love the part about Karmella's Game's "bank of herculean synths." Genius. Would you be interested in rewriting the bio for our site?
