I bought two 80s compilation CDs today. Imagine that. One had five tracks each from Missing Persons and the Motels. The other was something like 18 tracks by various bands.

Well, FIFA put them in the Top 10 before the start of the tournament. The least they could have done was actually show up.
I still enjoy Hell's Kitchen, but you would think that people would have learned from season 1. Hope Heather wins though.

Penalty kicks are to regular soccer what a home run derby tie-break would be to a baseball game. Personally, I'd prefer "boring extra innings" by a wide margin.

I think the soccer higher-ups avoid a "golden goal" based on 1) maybe an own goal would decide it, 2) maybe quality of play would get too intense/ rough? I dunno; I think it's worth the risk. After all, it's a major mistake or two that decides a PK situation anyway. How is that different from a own goal? Only slightly.

I don't know what to say about the World Cup final.
The PK early on was a bit of a fluke. The guy didn't really go down from the contact, but the defender could have avoided the contact. Brilliant shot by Zizou though.
