I'd like to write something clever about a worker's rebellion, anarchy, and bloodshed; but I'm just too tired. skull

The Falcons are 2-0! biggrin

This will be a short work week for me. I just hope it feels like one. skull

Unless you're in the youtube video you post or at least give a description, I probably won't watch it. I'm on dialup, remember. wink

Anyone know of any new music? I haven't really noticed any. Is it a slow time for new releases?

Fantasy hockey, anyone?...

Remind me to kick you in the shins, Chaz. That's pretty well what us short folk are known for doing, after all. wink

Yeah, VU over a trucker song any day. But it was a story about a trucker and it was the best I could come up with on short notice.

I saw The Black Dahlia today. I was going to see it yesterday, but work interfered. About an hour to hour and a half of a good movie, followed by a half hour to an hour and a half of a half-hearted try to tie up all of the loose ends. Sometimes after they had already seemed to be tied up. Parts of the ending...

I was debating seeing it,id been told the end is pretty silly with too many twists just slung in but the style really appeals to me so I think i will check it out on DVD

Survivor: Cook Islands wasn't so offensive. Not yet anyways. whatever I didn't want to see Sekou go though. I'm not sure who I would have voted off though. I thought Cao Boi was very interesting. He might be an early favorite. I can't believe those crazy crackers tried to leave their puzzle pieces behind. tongue

Ah, hockey...

These projects are still tentative, so I don't want to spoil the fun by saying anything yet. Trust me, though. If/when things happen, I'll never shut up about it. biggrin

The less said about this week the better, but it's ending on a good note.
I went to B&N today and bought 3 books for $9.99. Cezanne by himself, a nice selection of his paintings with text that I will never read. tongue India: the Cultural Companion, sort of an illustrated encyclopedia of all things Indian. I will read that text. wink The Sexual Life of Catherine...

Just about here, darlin', just about here. Anyway, I guess you see why I haven't been on that other site for a few days. I've been out trolling ... and chatting up the 25 year old who is on DN. I think I'm flying him out for a visit in a couple weeks.

I'm not making fun of your trench coat. Hell, it's a pretty nice trench coat. I'm a little envious.
radiofrank:
Thanks, Chaz.

Hope you're well.

I'd recommend watching them both. I'm tempted to say the first is better, but it's low-budget and I trend in that direction. Rent em together when it comes out on DV.

1. Not sure. I bought TSRtS on the cheap lately, so I'll say the live "No Quarter," but I dunno.
2. "Makin Love" or "Cold Gin," I guess... hadn't listened in a while.
3. "Love and Affection," "Soul Shakedown Party"... listening to the early stuff now.
4. "Hot Blooded" ...also (yes) "I Want to Know what Love Is"
5. "I'm Losing You"

6. I'll go with "Sheena"
7. "Hypnotized"
8. dunno, haven't heard much
9. "Echoes pt 1" from Pompeii... "Wish You Were Here"
10. "Simple Man," "Tuesday's Gone," hard to choose one

11. "Hotel CA"
12. hard to argue with "Heroes"
13. once again, hard to argue with a classic
14. "I Want You Back" ...I didn't really go much for Jackson group though
15. another classic

16. "Dream Police"
17. does "Do Ya" count? That was a Move song first? "Don't Bring Me Down" is great.
18. I cannot name a better ABBA song than the only American #1. I liked "Take a Chance on Me" most as a kid, but it isn't as good.
19. I cannot name a better Ig song
20. "More than a Woman" .... "Stayin Alive"!

21. I like all those 70s singles. Dunno that I can choose one. "Daniel," maybe, but there's 10 or 12.
