It's a point of frustration on the groups. A friend involved with site ownership is all kinds of supportive, but she's not involved in group management. I'm not about to ask her to get involved in the sordid details of it all, and the people who generally are responsible for making the call are a combination of grossly incompetent and personally biased.

You probably need to just get better at doing the in person thing, fool. If you operate on the premise that you're bound to say something stupid anyway, you can live in a much lower stress environment. Then occasionally when non-stupid things are uttered from your mouth, it's like getting a present. Those rules apply in my life regardless of the level of sobriety I'm in....

What makes it even stranger still is that we had both opted not to do the playing games thing. On New Year's Day and a couple times since, we'd actually come out and told the other that we were into each other, both physically and otherwise.

She had a project to finish on Monday before we went out, but I would have expected a call if something had come up, or at least expect that she'd have replied to my messages.
