12 hours? lordy, i hope you're not salary. i used to work ten hour days, but i liked it because i only had to work 4 days a week. gosh, now i wish i was still working those shifts.

k, I happened to get my hair cut Tuesday night and they still had a few copies of the mercury. YOUR STORY MADE BOLD PRINT ON THE FRONT PAGE! How cool is that?! I didn't see anything wrong with the article other than for it being a story about your current job and all, they probably gave a little bit too much coverage about your previous work. I can see where the current employer might not approve of that, especially considering the subject matter. But that was a hell of a lot more interesting and it's their job to make their paper interesting. And that isn't a bad pic. I still say you're cute. I haven't gotten new glasses in about 10 or 12 years. I finally got my eyes tested last year (very little change) and started looking at frames and the only pair I liked weren't covered by my insurance. So I am still using the same old ones.

What day are you planning on being out of town because I've got a plane ticket that says "Portland: Friday to Sunday" already in my hand.

Aw yeah, I'm glad your Christmas turned out better than your Thanksgiving. But I can't conceive of any gift better than working at a place that gives you the chance to desacrate the bodies of the newly dead then hand you a paycheck for doing it. You do know that none of those people are getting into Heaven without their eyes, right?

PS - I might be coming out there at the end of this month. Let me know if you want to see how many drinks it takes until you stop vomiting at the mere sight of me in the flesh.

do you still have time for knitting with the new job? i hear portland is getting blasted with snow and cold. perhaps your new skill will come in handy.

with you new job, is that something that is related to forensic anthropology? i've never really heard of anyone working a job like yours. you'll have to tell us more about it.

Glad the job stuff is looking up or at least different in a good way. Get well soon. Take vitamin C - 3000-4000mg a day. And keep a kettle of water simmering on the stove to add humidity to the air.
