first loves are such a bitch. people never really get over them. hell...it took me six years to become comfortable with the fact that i would never be with said person again. SIX FUCKING YEARS. how pathetic. i just think that people never really let go of the love they first find. the feeling can never be repeated. its something that you have never experience... Read More
It's quite easy to compete with first loves - unless you never allow yourself to move on and get stuck in that miasma of 'it was the first, it has to be the bet' BS.
Love differs from relationship to relationship.
While the first may truly hold some dire significance due to it being utterly original, it does not mean that it'll be the uber-love of your life. At least, not to me.
Yes, I had a first love.
Yes, it formed a lot of who I am today.
Yes, it was delightful.
Yes, the excitement was divine.
But I'm willing to bet that as I grow, learn who I am, and experience life with others as a more balanced, and hopefully more insightful person, that my loves [or preferably; love] will be that much more passionate and thorough.
The excitement of loving someone completely and knowing that you are who you really are, is what truly sounds perfect to me.
What the fuck do I know? I live by myself, with a cat named after a simian.
My horoscope mentioned something along the lines of, "Be careful where you sit, otherwise you'll end up with a rutabaga lodged in your rectum."
So, naturally, I watched where I sat all day.
There are great jobs here in Helsinki, as a matter of fact, I work next to a processing plant that turns out puppies that smell like donuts.
Bonus!
B,
i just got a fortune cookie from Panda Express today. the gist of the message was to look for rewards from the success of your friends. and from this i said to myself, do i have friends? can i really say they are, and so they should be considering how much i pay them to call me their friend. wait, do i have any money. oops. and why am i the loser on the sideline waiting for someone to have good fortunes, when i can wear a black ski mask and hold up a bank with a shotgun for millions of dollars. wait, prison attire and shower sodomy doesn't sound enticing.
moving back home at the end of the month is going to suck ass.
BUT! i'm able to see it as an opportunity to to get myslef out of the crazy debt i have acquired and achieve my tattoo goals by the end of the summer *fingers crossed*
october is the deadline. i will be visiting portland and making a HUGE decision as to where... Read More
B,
I bumped into Elvis one day, some 8 months ago, and he said "Listen here bubba, the best donuts i've ever tasted was in Tupelo. Not as rockin' as my favorite banana peanut butter sandwiches, but The King(he always in the extent of the conversation referred to himself in the third person, occassionally) suggests you take your ass to the Smokey Water Pine Delicatessen, and order you some of their fried glazed donuts, the chocolate ones of course. Also, The King says don't step on my blue suede shoes."
so what's the true message of this story. uh, Tupelo has great donuts. perhaps Tupelo should be your starting point. where the hell is Tupelo, i have no friggin clue. i'm tired, very tired, need rest, ahh, pretty colours......
well well well. life just keeps on handing me lemons.
arrive home from my henry rollins/girl time to my roommate telling me that we are all being kicked out of the apartment by the end of the month.
first thought: "i'm moving to florida."
second thought: "i can get more tattoos!"
third thought: "fuck."
so far, i am stuck on the third thought and trying... Read More
I' surely join a Bailey Fan Club. I'd even undertake administrative tasks. You certainly do rock.
One of the first comments left in my journal was from Lesa, telling me I'm cute. "I'm CYOOOOT!" I yelled, and flew around ym room. I smacked into a Spider-Man action figure and got blood on one of my X-Mn posters. Not cute.
My weekend was killer, in both the good and bad senses of the word. Camping surrounded by couples is NOT cool. Not in my current state.
Are you moving to Florida before my Florida person and I meet? Looks like NYC and New Year's Eve are the place and time.
Am I all caught up? I'm still computerless. We should talk soon.
B,
Move to Middle Earth here, uh, i mean Vegas. wait, on second thought don't, the scene here for tattooed weirdos sucks, this place sucks. suckity sucks. i went to lame goth bar last night as it would reflect on my wordings.
do you remember that christmas special "rudolph the red-nosed reindeer"? rudolph was getting flying lessons when bernice told him that she thought he was cute. he jumped around yelling "i'm cute! i'm cute! she said i'm cuuuuute!". then he flew.
thats how i feel sometimes when i hear certain people tell me how they feel about me. only, my nose-cap doesnt fall off, revealing my... Read More
I was just gonna say you are the kewlest, but this post set off a tangential firestorm in my head....
bernice.......Bernice Loves Alfred...(Letters to Xiola..spoken word by Perry Ferrel)
and then somehow that stupid Corky Romano converasation...." remember when the little elf who didn't like to make toys and he told Rudolph it was ok to be different" Corky trying to get his older brother Chris Penn to come out of the closet...I won't go into the nose cap tangent....that's one amongst my friends that would take waaaaay too long to explain. Oh Bailey what you did to my brain!!! yer da neetest :-)
The little elf dentist [Herbie?] always creeped me out.
That little fucker.
The idea of some gay little elf, with a quif haircut, drilling on my molars ... hell no.
I wish the Snowman had eaten his union-breaking little ass.
I'm pretty sure no one is cooler then you, Leaf. I really mean this.
I have to work on that Bailey Fan Club idea, damn it. I keep meaning to get the ball rolling but when you're stuck behind bars like I am it is SO tough to do these things ...
Ooops, did I just drop the soap?
B,
perhaps you should investigate the possibility of working as a beer taster at a brewery, wait you do already, part-time on Friday nights. Blimey! i too once knew a girl named randy, she left me hanging on a New Years Eve awhile ago, *sigh*

Explanations aren't so bad, but if you can arrive at them without thinking, you're better off. Thinking never solved anything, I always say.
