Well, having just looked at the Canadian border security website I apparently don't legally need one until June 1, 2009. I'll just be given a warning or something... But it's iffy if I'd be let in without one.
already put in an 8 hour day, and just as i was getting ready to go nap on the couch watching some bad cable before i have to head back out to work in a few hours, my sister came home.
I don't know what the fuck I ate, but when I got home today I took a shit that had to be mostly concrete. And not the smooth finish kind like in a swimming pool, either.
well, now that some time has passed, i can pass on some seriously depressing news.
i will not, in any way shape or form, be showing my ugly mug on the food network.
the big news of the last week was that immediately after filming us, the production assistant's car was broken into, and all of our footage was stolen. along with some lenses or... Read More
I don't think that 25 is old at all. I just had a friend who described it as "a year with nothing left to look forward to except cheaper car insurance and sagging tits." I thought it was funny.
That's odd, you'd think brunches would be crawling with SGs by now.
Congrats on the Food Network stuff, I assume you'll be telling us when it airs? Let me know the next time you're at the farmer's market, it's a leisurely stroll for me and I can try out some of whatever it is that you make.
Dude, if Alton Brown and the Good Eats crew (or the Feasting on Asphalt bunch) were coming to PDX I'd be all a-tingle. Guess I can settle for the Neeleys. It's just cool that you guys are getting some good recognition!
A sidebar: one of my previous cell phones had a composing feature to it and I tuned it up to play the theme from Good Eats. Yeah..... I'm pathetic.
so i work for a small, local company making delicious food for the citizens of the greater portland metro area. we make a variety of tasty treats, but mostly veggie and vegan savory tarts. when i say tarts, think of a hot pocket, if a hot pocket was handmade and full of wonderfully tempting fillings, and not diarrhea-inducing garbage. that's what we do.
I totally love the Food Network!!! (but Rachel Ray can go die, if you ask me! Her fifteen minutes are long since gone!) I'm guessing you'll be on "Unwrapped". Keep us posted.
and in 8 hours, the movers managed to move all mine and schmelectra's shit out of the house, while the demo team was tearing down walls, removing the ceiling from the garage and living room, and moving my bathtub out.
when i went to look at it, i was shocked and scared.
I think I'm most pissed that I wasted an entire holiday weekend procrastinating, and worrying about it at the same time. I would have been much better off if I had just done the work and enjoyed the rest of my time off
vegas was fun. spent most of the time hanging out with an old friend from chico and his ne'er do well artist friends, so i didn't do much gambling. won a few grand, so that was ok.
the best part is the moving lady came in and started working on the house while i was gone. having a large portion of the move done makes... Read More
I spend all my time in VEgas at the penny slots or the museums. I'm too much of a geek for anything else.
Moving lady? Lucky! In my day we had to move ourselves. In the rain. And 100 degree weather. Up-hill both ways!!!!
We just moved and it's nice to be done with it. Good luck with the rest of your move. The faster you ger back, the faster I can get my Netherwing quests done
