This weekend was spent in a sleepy haze. I think I slept more this weekend then I have in the past month.
When its hot outside, there's nothing else I'd rather do then nap in front of a fan.

I am a sloth, what can I say.

The heat is seriously pissing me off. I am not cut out for this 90+ degree weather. Grrr....damn...

Sleepiness must be in the air. I woke up this morning dead ass tired. Of course, I did roast my bum off outside yesterday, but you'd think that for going to bed at 11:00 and waking at 8:30, I would have at least felt somewhat refreshed.

Liked Secretary a lot. Especially the scene where she's doing office work with the spreader bar on her arms. It gave me some good ideas.

And oh yes, I placed an order for those nubile fan boys. They should be here anyday. Thank god for FedEx!

Its too hot to stay awake.

Yesterday I slept almost the entire day.

I need to go sit in front of a fan.

So hot.

I fucking hate you summer!

I'm still with her at my ex's-I woke up and was nervous b/c I couldn't find her (nervous that she was hiding from HIS cat and there would be a battle to get her back in the crate) and she had slept by the bed....I looked but then I was like shit I have to go to the bathroom first and right when I was turning the knob and about to turn away----I saw her tiny eyes looking at me from his closet, in his hamper!!! It was horribly cute. miao!! love tongue

I don't know how much sleep I got, which I'm guessing is a good thing. If I can't count the hours, it was probably over two, which is heads and tales better then the night before. I'm still exhausted though. I woke up earlier then I wanted, and I nearly fell asleep while getting dressed.

I feel like my eyes are going to fall into...

Hey hon..thanks a bunch for everything. I do appreciate it, and I hope your mother is doing well.

There's something wrong with this weather. It's been too hot for too long. We need a break! I don't blame you for complaining.

One of my favorite people Grimjack is going through a tough time. Go show him some love and support.

I'm tired...exhausted really. I guess my new anti-depressants are keeping me up instead of putting me to sleep like they are supposed to be. I tossed and turned all night. I think I got about 2 hours of sleep total, and that wasn't consecutively. I woke...

Hmm.. try benedryl spray for the bites... or ice...

Today is my troll's day. Yesterday I met a great person to quest with and got some special items I haven't been able to look at yet cause we watched Five People You Meet in Heaven. It's also a book. I cried through the whole movie. I think the only time I wasn't in tears was the first 15 or so minutes.

Of course, crappy day at work yesterday and the horrible headache probably didn't help.

I'm still working on my washcloth. I've only done a few rows in the past few days. I was going to work on it last night, but I was gripping my pillow so Tailin wouldn't see my ugly crying face. I'm not one of those people who cries well, that's for sure.

I want to make a bag, just a simple one, but I'm not sure if there are any tricks. I was thinking I'd just knit a strap a few stitches wide, seperately, then knit a long almost scarflike piece and then sew it together. Does that sound like it would work? I just have some soft fuzzy yarn that I don't know what else to do with.
beautifulxalone:
ugh...how did that happen? did you do something you weren't supposed to, or it just happened? my sockets seem to be healing okay, they're not bleeding anymore...and they don't really hurt...the only thing that hurts is my f'n jaw. frown

My jaw hurts. I must be clenching something fierce, because it is killing me. I feel like I've been gnawing on a plank of wood.

Ow.

I'm sitting in my nice dark office. Its sweet. I'm drinking my coffee, updating my journal, avoiding my coworkers. I love having a little space of my own. I used to sit in a hallway, literally, like people would...

My dad called me last night. My mom is out of ICU. She's back on the 6th floor (where she always seems to be) in a regular room. I called her and talked to her for a bit before the doctors came in. I have never been so happy to hear my moms voice.

There's just something about talking to my mom...its reassuring. I immediately...

beautifulxalone:
i feel very selfish that you've commented on my "sad" journals, but I haven't left you any comments on your real sad situation.

I have been thinking of you and praying for your Mom. Stay strong...that's the only advice I can really give you.

I'm not exactly sad, just overwhelmed and uncertain about alot of things. Very lonely too. It's very hard to spend every night alone in the house.

Oh well. Thanks for the comment though.

I called my dad this morning. He was on his way to the hospital. He didn't know if she was switched out of ICU yet. So as far as I know, she's still in intensive care.

I think this is the hardest part of her being in the hospital. The waiting. Not knowing what is going on or what they're doing. If I was in...

I TOTALLY understand the horribleness of being left along with your own thoughts....

Does you Dad have a phone to get in touch with him while he is at the hospital? It's times like these that everyone needs a cell...

I hope things are going a little better.

You're definately strong enought to face whatever in on your pathe. Even if you don't think you will be at sometimes, you're a very strong person. Keep your head up and believe that you can do it, and you will.

I just got home from visiting my mom. She's in intesive care so I could only see her between 2pm and 5:30.
I don't know...I was quiet. I didn't really want to talk. I didn't like how my dad was being so light-hearted. I watched my cousin cry in the waiting room, because she didn't want to let go of my mom yet. I try...

that's how I was when my grandmother was sick. When she couldn't talk I wouldn't talk. I can see how you might worry that it comes off as you not caring. You're there with her. You're holding her hand. She knows you care.

Maybe it might help you if when you get home and you have the urge to call and you can't, if you write down what you would say if you could call.

I started doing that with people recently. I've found that sometimes writing things down is more satisfying then actually saying them to the person.

If you ever need anyone to talk about you can talk to me. It seems like you're going through alot of stuff that I can level with you on.

I hate ICU. It's always so cold and it's a good thing you don't cry while you're there cause their tissues suck.

kiss

Hey boys and girls.

Had vegan Chinese and booze with my SGphilly people last night. We ended up at Grimjack's house. A good time was had by all.

I think I napped most of the day today. Its too hot to go outside or walk around or do much of anything. I just tried to go out before but the heat was making me...

My ears were more fucked then I originally thought. What started as an allergic reaction became an infection. If I didn't get it checked when I did I would have wound up with a serious infection. Even though it was caught early, if it doesn't look like its clearing up by Saturday I'll have to get IV antibiotics, which I do not want!

How'd the interview go?

I'm exhausted. I think I got a total of two hours of sleep. I took lots of Benadryl last night, just incase my ears swelled up from an allergic reaction. Instead of making me sleep it made me wired. I tossed and turned for hours.

My girl has the same reaction with Benadryl. It makes her climb the walls. Probably has something to do with Bipolar.

Wow, both you guys are sick, that sucks. When I get bored at work and the day is taking forever, I sing theme songs to t.v. shows to pass the time. The other thing that I like to do is pick a voice to talk in all day like a wrestler, an old jewish man, an immagrant, howard cossell, etc.
I am strange aint I?
