I can identify strongly with the discomfort of getting older, and also of not accomplishing anything really celebrated or commended by society. I realized a few years ago that I will always be poor, because I'm not willing to put everything in my life aside for a career. And I'm fine with that. I would rather have wonderful experiences and good friends than make money.

I hope you enjoy every moment of your trip to the States! Maybe sometime you'll make it to the Northwest. In my opinion its one of the most beautiful places in the US, although the Northeast (Vermont and Maine especially) are contenders. I'd still love to meet you someday. <3

my grandfather used to have a book repair shop and all the books were sewn.

My father, uncle and aunt also learned the technique and worked at the shop until it closed. I would love to learn how to repair the books without sewing or glue.. are there any books/websites that would teach me?
