Rodin was finally starting to act like a cat (as opposed to catatonic), but now he appears to be cycling backwards, and I think the prednisone is making him irritable. Let's continue sending healing energy his way. Mau Bast, we love you, you spotted trooper!!
Our Lusty Lady Moulin Rouge-themed Playday was a glittery, feathery success. Thanks to all the SG members who contributed to...

Enjoy the trip!

It took place Friday December 12, part of the "annual holiday party." The band played about four or five songs, as I recall, around nine(?) at night; So you might have blinked and missed it. There's a photo of it following your comment in my journal.

Lots of furry energy still being sent Rodin's way! My babies Greebo and Voxie send their best purs and little bits of furs! I just noticed you listed Sylvia Plath and Anne Sexton together, which made me triple tremble because i did an essay in college called"Poets Before Prozac" and it was based around the works of those 2 lovely ladies. After i was finished with what was to be the best paper ive written, and published turned into a fixation that if i continued to write, i would totally continue to lose my mind. So the boys took my books away and told me i was sane and would live. Well, im still a total victim of Zoloft and all the other drugs they use to make me tepid, but im still writing.

Thora, you leave me in awe.

Rodin is starting to act like a cat again. Bast, the meds, and everyone's prayers and energy are working their magic, and I want to thank you all.
Prom was so much fun! I met a mysterious guy in an obvious red suit, took pics with Slithytove and Seether's amazing girlfriend, Barbara/ Barbarella... I met a bunch of rad folks, actually, including Cattra and Seether,...

It was super rad to get to hang out with you and talk to you at prom! You looked amazing kiss
simon:
I'm REALLY glad your cats are doing better. I kind of know how you feel, I've been having cat troubles too.

I missed meeting you at PROM. Actually, there were lots of people I didn't get a chance to meet.

Take care and have a GREAT time in Europe.

Isis - sore throat, feline herpes outbreak
Circe - uterine infection (clearing up!)
Helen - not sick
Rodin - mystery illness. Vet can't find anything wrong in his blood panel, and thinks it may be an endemic brain disease. He looks like he may not make it, so please, please send healing energy.
My last entry explains more about it.
It's just weird that 3...

Sorry i haven't been able to respond to everyone yet. The cats are sick, and so are the humans, but the cats are really sick. Here are the symptoms. Please let me know if you are familiar with these. My coworker knows a dog who has them, and the vet ran every possible test and concluded that he had a weird virus. Maybe it's from...

i'm no vet but that sort of behavior in my experience with cats, and I've had tons of cats... sounds silly but seems more psychological than physical (might also be some psychological stuff branching off from preexisting physical symptoms). like they might sense something dangerous or uncomfortable about their environment or they miss someone/something. one of my cats acted like that one another one of them died- the living cat missed the dead one terribly. but yeah, get those kitties checked out! hope you and the kitties get better! kiss kiss kiss

Hey, I didn't compliment you in the group we both belong to where I responded to the thread you started early this morning.

But I will here.

You sound like a caring person. Cut yourself some slack, and make sure you get petted as decently as your cats. You appear quite capable of righteous purring. miao!!

If anything I've offered is useful, fun or -- Isis allowing --stimulating, why not, what the heck, add me as a friend? I'd be pleased--if not overwhelmed.

Anyone else going to Leipzig for Wave Gotik Treffen? I'm leaving on May 20 (and need to make some $$$)! Flying into Berlin, and out of Paris, where I lived for almost 8 years.
Bought a big pink pleather purse in the shape of a TEAPOT!!
My Lusty Lady co-worker and I have tentative plans to get our ears pointed by a body mod pro...

False alarm. I thought for sure (well, almost) that this latest address US Search supplied me with for my birth parents was the right one. Turns out the woman is only 8 years older than I. Back to the searching board.

*sigh*

Re. the last entry: My shop steward got me off with a 2-week suspension and a written warning. And since the latenesses are partly due to my recent accident, my lawyer will attribute the lost wages to the drunk who hit me.

I was fired from the Lusty Lady co-op, and I think it was my 3rd anniversary, too. Went to work, was called into the office mid-shift by my coworkers/members of the board, and told that I was terminated and will never again be rehired because of a history of lateness. Oh, but they liked me, and it was "nothing personal". But I had to clear...

It looks like I've got a better lead re. the whereabouts of my birth mother. The first US Search person told me she only had addresses in OK or NC, and that didn't seem right, but I sent letters out anyway. Correct name and age, but odd locations. I called them back when the NC letter got returned to me, and the woman huffed at...

Well, my sweetie's sister died of a heart attack as a result of anorexia the other day. What a heart-wreching time for her family. There was SO MUCH FOOD at her wake! Their father is an aerospace engineer and chose a crypt, as he did not want his daughter in the ground. Not funny. But it's a disease like any other, and requires the same...
