I so much know this "I need to go back to my bed now" feeling. Sad to say I have not grown any stronger in the last 20 years. I can endure a little longer, I can even ignore things better and it has helped beyond imagination to change my surroundings to be less stressful. But there's simply no way I'll _not_ go hide in my bed under pressure. I miss having cats so much. Really need to move somewhere else so I can have one or two again. Anyway I hope you find someone nice to hold you safely there once you go into non-feeling sleep mode. and, actually, until you fall asleep since that's helpful too :)
