⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

As we all know, we're all having a hard time coping with this new situation.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Many of my friends are losing their jobs or having less projects to work on, thus getting less paid. So I recently had a big translation project I was working on, and I shared it with some of my translator friends who were not working at...

Helping others out right now is a fabulous thing.  It's really hard to think of others when we are all so worried about life.  Thanks for being an amazing person.

Neil Gaiman is very good.  I listen to audio books constantly.  I also like Gaiman because, unlike most authors, he reads/performs his books himself and he does a very good job of it.

Hello SGland!

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

To be honest, things haven't changed much for me. I've been working from home for the past 5/6 years (I'm a translator), so I'm pretty used to the quarentine life-style of only going out when extremely necessary.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

The only thing I'm really missing is going to the gym. As everything is closed, I'm trying to exercise at home, I even bought...

This week's blog homework is quite easy. I really enjoy cooking!

Let's go with BRAZILIAN BRIGADEIRO then. It's a very famous dessert, also very common at children's parties.

INGREDIENTS:
3-5 tablespoons cocoa
1 tablespoon butter
1 can sweetened condensed milk
Chocolate sprinkles (optional)
DIRECTIONS
In a saucepan over medium heat, combine cocoa, butter and condensed milk.
Stir this mix until it gets thick, which takes...

I kept thinking about this one for a while, but then I realized it was on the back of my mind all along: YOU ONLY LIVE ONCE!
This is a song by Suicide Silence, which I love. Also, it is my motto.
Of course, that does not mean I don't regret things. I do, a lot.
But I'd rather regret about things I've done than...

BLOG HOMEWORK: IF YOU COULD MAKE A SOUNDTRACK TO ANY MOVIE GENRE, WHA…

Hey babes
Well, first things first, but I gotta say I just loved this theme.
The movie genre would certainly be science fiction/thriller, something Donnie Darko-like, which is by far my favorite movie.
Regarding the lyrics, I'd choose the Canadian band The Birthday Massacre, one of my favorite bands ever! I think their sort of etherial music style would fit perfecty into this genre. I'd...

Odd, but the first thing that came up in my head when I saw this theme was: Showering every day, somedays even more than once!
In Brazil we do have plenty of water (at least when compared to some other countries) available and it is very hot in here, so we got what seems to be the perfect combination.
Some say this practice started with...
