(Of course, previous to this gift in triplicate, my most "lavish" parcel was a Christmas '03/New Year's giftbox to my two best friends among my Peace Corps group. It included Reese Bites (which I later discovered, to my chagrin, to taste quite nasty), albums from Oasis & Steve Miller, a copy of Sex, Drugs, & Cocoa Puffs, another book (non-fiction, on medieval Islam, I believe), & a year-end top 20 (mine), et. al. It was quite the outlay, after the cost of shipping from USPS to the vama (foreign package receiving center). But, yeah...)
Anyway, congratulations, again. & good luck & fast work in getting THAT JOB. (Any job, I'm sure... But at least one that's above "burrito roller" at Chipotle.)

Last, don't sweat what you DIDN'T GET out of your college years. Especially in light of your interview for the internship at that newspaper... Obviously, you took enough away to get "poached" for a paying (!) gig. You're right where you should be, then, first job out of your cap & gown & all. (Even if you didn't attend your grad ceremony... Hahah! (I attended mine, & emblazoned my mortarboard with yellow electrical tape reading "2 legit 2 quit". I is a winnr.))
