SOMEBODY PLEASE MAKE BAD THINGS STOP HAPPENING TO ME.

Late last night, I decided I wanted a pack of cigarettes. Brian didn't want to walk to the Uni-Mart with me, so I went by myself. Somehow, I lost my keys. I was stuck outside in my pajamas in the rain and cold for THREE HOURS because Brian fell asleep. I ruined my wallet and new book from throwing them at the window so many times, and poked a bunch of holes in the window screen from doing so. UGH. This is definitely the incentive I needed to quit smoking completely.

Since I lost my keys I wasn't able to leave my apartment today because they charge an arm and a leg to let you in when you're locked out. Which meant I had to call off work and I do not think they were pleased. Eventually I got an extra key from my landlord. Who was also not pleased.

THEN my cat, for no apparent reason, started foaming at the mouth. I don't know what caused it, and he's fine now, but it was really scary.

I'm exhausted.

On the other hand, I'm pretty sure I got an internship at The Pittsburgh City Paper. Yeah, it's not a job, but a little more experience never hurt anybody.
