The saddest part is that no matter what you do or say, the only thing that will count for him is to reach his "objective" wich is a relation with you. A personality like this is always destructive, but in different ways. Against himself or even you. As long as he cannot reach a real happiness, he will hate to know that you are happy and in some way, he will try to break it. Making you feel guilty about his situation and becoming you the origin of all. You never did something bad or wrong with him, you acted just like a friend, but the problem is inside his brain. You have some options, but I think that at the end, you will reach the real only one. To cut all the relation with him. Create a big distance between he and you and forget about his existence and ignoring what he can say about it or if he Threat with anything. Why this option? Because the other ones are not possible: 1 You will not start a relation with him, right? 2 You can try to continue being his friend, listening every time and every moment how much is he suffering because of you. 3 To force yourself to be more kind with him and make him feel better, but knowing that he can create any ilusión about a relation because of it. So, at the end he will throw to you more shit (Go back to 2) The truth is that even trying to be kind, you will reach a day when you will be tired of all this story, tired of listening the same song about you and him, etc, etc and like you said. You will answer him with simple words or even silence, just because you want to leave your life and not carry a load that you never asked for... So... Why you have to pass trough all of these and eat tons of shit? Just because a (maybe) deranged mind "choose" you? As I said, maybe my position is bit extreme, but, lady... We all have our own personal hell, and we don't need to suffer other ones by force.

I have to agree, I was in the same boat as you not planning to buy it. But some friends got it for me, and I'm hooked, cant wait to be higher level. Also, hang in there, I know how hard it is to loose a sibling, but after a while, they become your inspiration to keep on going and achieve things!
