Birthday is Today!

I'm extremely excited about this. My last birthday was absolutely awful, but it seems like this one will be so much better. Vegetarian sushi followed by drunkenness at the best dive bar in the world with a bunch of friends, which is all I really want. Simple and fun. Cate says she's getting me a tiara, so I can be a birthday...

Birthday in 11 days! I'm a complete birthday diva too. So it'll be interesting.

Um, update, life and whatnot:

Most importantly, thank you to everyone who sponsored me for the SF AIDs Walk. It really is an amazing charity, so much fun. I'll get the prints out to those people very soon, I promise! I just have to find good ones. If any of you...

Caution, unsolicited advice ahead:

SPOILERS! (Click to view)

You really want a 250cc? I'm not a huge advocate of starting on the smaller bikes, though I know alot of people say it's the best way to go. Reason being, when you are out riding around the other vehicles passing will blow you around. Also, you don't have enough power to get yourself out of a jam. Both situations create alot of anxiety for a new rider and aren't big confidence builders. And if riding ends up being your primary form of transport then you'll out grow a 250 in less than three months.

I generally recommend that you start with a 400 or 600 cc bike. Keep in mind that a cruiser style has a lower seat height. Women usually default to cruisers because we have a lower center of balance, whereas guys tend to be more comfortable on the sport bikes because they have a higher center of balance. Consider starting out on a Honda VLX. Easy to find pasts/service/modifications and very reliable.

I think we might be stuck cause my coret is white w/black stripes and I was gonna wear a black skirt too to be the groom, I could bust out my tiara and bride it up?

Thanks for all the people who cheered me up. I needed the laugh.

Especially since I got news that made me no fonder of the gender. Although I suppose in all fairness I am equally irritated at my own right now, so...

Prom was kickass. Great to meet y'all that came out. (And if I missed you cause I was running about ... all dunkdeded......

If I bribed you with a promise to touch my Wii, would you come to my graduation party on Saturday?

marge:
Yarg! I didn't realize yours was the SAME day. That is dumb. The California Uni system just got an F for fucked up. Well at least yours ends around the time that mine begins, so they are staggered. Perhaps you can ride with GlassHeart or Cate, if either of them decide they want to go. Otherwise, I am sure we can find someone to pick you up in Richmond. We will just have to keep in touch throughout the day.

I wish I wasn't SO DAMN IRATE. mad

Rant:

SPOILERS! (Click to view)

Why on earth do guys feel the need to touch? Without asking? Over and over again? If I'm dancing, it does NOT mean to put your hands on my waist from behind. When I move away, it does NOT mean to follow me and try it again. Over and over again, and then...

Hi Ms. Maddi,

Good luck with the 13 yo buysexual. Hahaha
takeahnase:
I'd like to defend the male gender but seriously, we're scum. I'm sorry. Still, don't let arseholes get you down, just deal with what you have to deal with, and have fun at the prom, okay? And give me a shout if you want to rant anymore. Have a good week, and good luck with everything kiss

Alright, the plague is gone, and I'm lying in bed just cause I want to, not because I have to.

It's been one of those months where everything's gone crazy, and I absorb everyone else's stress.

So this weekend was a huge help. 80's dancing all weekend! Delirium and DNA

I really fucking needed that. Needed to work off that jumpy cranky stressy feeling.

Glad to hear your feeling better. There are few things I hate as much as the plague. And I'll have to try the 80s dance weekend. I seem to be mired in that jumpy cranky stressy feeling.

I hate being sick.

I always seem to be posting that I'm sick. And sad about it. And whiney.

Because I'm seriously the world's worst attention-whore when I feel icky. Curl up with everyone I know and mewl for affection.

My morning was somewhat stressful. But made much better by the fact that the entire time I was running our YouthAids fundraiser at work, I...
