Podcasts are not really a thing in Russia and I would never be able to pick just one episode of the favorite series, so I'd share my favorite Twitch channel, which in a way can be considered both a podcast and a series.

Ladies and gents meet Bob Ross Twitch Channel! They hold Bob Ross marathons every now and then and it's random Joy...

@robertbluesman he's so soothing, really! That's why I like watching him so much. Luckily there are ways for him to stay with us even after his passing away. RIP, Bob.ย

I feel it's very important for me to write this blog and to write it here - SG is a place which unites people from all different corners of the world - nice people, open-minded people, creative people. And I hope @missy and @rambo you don't mind me tagging you here, if this reaches FP, this might help spread my message.

What happened today in...

Hi Ivylina, Have just seen this and couldn't agree more with your blog. Why hate people when you can use a lot less energy in liking someone and being kind. NO ONE deserves to die for the sake of politics, religion or just because someone else has decided they don't like them.

I agree! Wish our world was safer!

When I was thinking about the topic I wanted to start with "hey, I wouldn't call my life a success, so no success - no key to it" but then I gave it a proper thought and I am indeed successful in many minor but still very important to me ways.

And it's only got one key - being friendly, open-minded and honest all at...

I hope I'm not too late with this one!

My problem is time difference! With me having friends, followers all over the world it's a massive problem. Wether it comes to chatting online, skyping or streaming on twitch (!) there are always people who can't make it because work/sleep/other plans which happen due to the time difference between all of us. Man, even in Russia...

In the 24-hour world we live in, I fear that this is an impossible problem. ย I live in Chicago, and if you think New York deserves the moniker "the city that never sleeps" then you've never been here. ย I live in an apartment and there is almost always at least 1 person home, and to find all 3 of us home (even in the middle of the night) is a rarity. ย It used to be, we were on the same schedule as the rest of us per time zone because we based our working days on if the sun was shining on our section of the planet at that time. ย This is no longer true, and there are people everywhere who have different times for different lives. ย I actually wouldn't want to solve the problem, even if I could, because we all lead different lifestyles and to be forced to live a certain lifestyle so that you could sleep at the same time as the whole world, would kind of take away that ability.

It is a hard one hun and a problem for so many of us, it's a pity there is no easy fix

This set has been something me and @karanlit have been dreaming to shoot for such a long time and I want to thank fate for letting it happen. First of all, thank you, my love, @karanlit for being here for me, for having unbelievable ideas and passion for photography. Thank you @darishka for making this set happen so fast, for shooting perfect shots and for...

People who follow me on twitch and get to talk to me there a lot already know that I used to smoke cigarettes when I was younger (probably too young to start smoking in the first place). I was in 10th grade, being 16 and feeling so adult that it was only logical to start smoking which TV shows made look so romantic and posh,

I miss those so much, having snow 5 months a year is driving me insane and I'd just die to have a nice spring rain and a day off to spend at home while it rains. Anyways, there's nothing better than a good read on a rainy day. I love to read to a sound of rain drops hitting my window and to the sound...

Times where when we could have had up to 6.5 months of Snow. While I don't miss the Snow I do enjoy less shoveling. Now it seems to melt away between the Storms. Not a big fan of mud. Thur & Fri. it was in the 70'sยฐ F ( 20ยฐ C ) here, a good 35ยฐF higher than normal for this time of year. May your Spring Flowers arrive soon. Enjoy.

Mr. Alan Rickman, how not to lose your own personality among the so many you have to perform and was it hard to play a villain and then appear in public, knowing most people despise the character you play?...

You should've asked Bowie if there was Life on Mars. That would have been hilarious. Still an excellent read. Too many amazing people taken from us last year. David Bowie, Alan Rickman, Greg Lake and many more.

So, it happened. I watched The Shining for the first time ever (yeah yeah I know). The thing is I read the book and I absolutely loved it. One of the few books that scared me and gave me chills. The thing is there's a cliche "books are much better than movies" and I used to disagree but this time yes, so much yes.

As...

I loved reading this! I only saw the movie for the first time around the same time you did, however I have not read the book. I am now fully convinced I need to read it! The movie left me confused so I can only imagine the book will explain so much!
ivylina:
@angela14 with the book you'll learn so much more about every character and about the Overlook itself, do it! It's a must read, honestly :)

I've been to movies yesterday and watched Rogue One aaaaand absolutely loved it! I'm writing this blog, because many people, "true" Star Wars fans been telling me that they would not go and watch it, that Star Wars is now money making franchise sucking money out of people who go and watch out of the memory for good times ('member Chewbacca?). Well, I'm going disagree

Saw it this weekend and liked it. A good, straight action story, not too deep but good entertainment. Lots of fan service. Some parts of the plot reminded me strongly of Episode 6 but that mustn't be something bad. I mean Episode 1-3 weren't really good either imo (politely spoken), yet before Disney got their hands in (I haven't seen 7 yet). So yeah, I don't regret having watched it.
ivylina:
@drwhosit such a profound description! I'm glad you liked it after all :)
