Let's have some fun!

1. About Russia. If you spent 2 minutes looking at each exhibit in the Hermitage (Saint Petersburg), it would take you 6 years to see everything.

2. About Dogs. Unlike humans who sweat everywhere, dogs only sweat through the pads of their feet.

3. About Space. There’s a galaxy about 28 million light years from earth that looks like...

#11 @ivylina is truly fantastic in so many ways.  :-)
ivylina:
@snakeguy awww! You’re adorable for saying that, made my day, thank you!

Is not even that secret.

1. Be honest with yourself

Don't be ashamed of what you feel about a certain person, events, actions, words. Being honest with youself is the key to the harmony in everything including love. Never regret your feelings either! They're here for a reason and it's what makes us human.

2. Be honest with your loved one

Honesty...

A suggestion to help with item 5.  Remember to thank the other person for doing simple everyday things.  "Thank you for taking the trash out."  "Thanks for tidying up the living room.  It looks nice."  "Thanks for doing the laundry."  Making this a habit does two things.  It tells the other person that you notice and appreciate him or her.  It also reminds you that the other person is contributing to the relationship every day and all the time.

The story (which is technically not a story but a novel) that has done the strongest impact on my life is Gone With The Wind by Margaret Mitchell.

I've started reading the book right at the beginning of my exchange year in the United States. 16 at the time, I was somewhat going through the exact same love life/going-of-age struggle as Scarlet does...

I remember reading it when I was around 20's. I used my college summer vacations to be at the pool, and I read it while I was tanning. It just reminded me of a good time, when I had less worries about life. I love this book.

Nana by Emile Zola because it spoke of a world so very different from mine....so lush, wild and far away. It inspired me to seek with passion and without fear. Red Badge of Courage by Stephen Crane for I was raised to go to war. It stripped the romance of war so utterly bare and set me on a path to become a very different kind of warrior.

Many people have asked me to write a blog about my experience during the French shootfest that has ended just a few days ago, but already seems like a dream. Definitely the best dream I've ever had.

It was my first international shootfest ever and I'm so grateful for it to be the best possible shootfest experience. Most people would think that if...
