Sometimes I feel like getting red wine drunk and watching 'The Crow". There's just something about re-living my nineties goth girl days that is so appealing.

Unfortunately, that won't be happening tonight. Alas, I have work tomorrow.

So, after nine years of e-friendship, I finally got to meet @schiavona in the flesh. Let's just say, he and his wife are both very amazing people. They're...

Crow and red wine, that's serious stuff! I've not met anyone from SG yet. But I have met women from online dating. I would think that's a very different experience when you meet someone from SG. Especially since one is exposed--in a manner of speaking--more on this site than on a dating site.
iggy:
@rileyj, it's soooooo much different meeting people on SG than it is meeting people from a site like Ok Cupid or what have you. I think on dating sites people talk a lot more game and generally don't behave like themselves. I think they put a lot more stock into it than they really should. They use pictures that are years old, embellish what they do for a living, etc. On Sg, it's more laid back. People are more themselves. You get to know them better than you would on a dating site because SG is not a dating site. It's just another social network. There's 'less at stake' than on a dating site so people tend to be more relaxed, honest, and open. There's no pressure to meet in real life on SG. There's no guessing game about what a person wants from you. I've had so much more fun at SG events or meeting people from SG than I ever did on 99.9% of the online dates I went on.

I checked in this week and found I had twenty or so new followers! Thank you, dear new followers. To you I give a hearty welcome!

This weeks blog topic is asking us to talk about our pets. For those of you who are new, I do animal rescue. I always have foster dogs coming and going. At the moment, I have three doxie mixes,...

Cute butt you have there.  And you do still look in your early 20's.  BTW, you have a fabulous smile in person.  :-)
schiavona:
Oh, and it was fabulous to finally meet you, love.  I so hope we get to spend more time in the future and get to know each other better!  **HUGS**

To be perfectly frank, 2013 was a hell of a year for me. It was a year from which I am still recovering. So, to stay positive, I pretty much count my blessings every day and try to dwell on the positive more than the negative. So a list thus follows of everything and everyone I am grateful for.

1. I finally found a person...

"I'm incredibly grateful that I came back to the site after such a long hiatus to people that still remember me"  I'm glad you CAME back!  "I'm glad that I have a job that I don't dread going to and that I actually enjoy." Me too!

Those are great things to be grateful for! Keep strong!

Sometimes, I scroll through my Facebook feed and come across statuses from certain people and my first thought is, "hehe. I had sex with you." There's a lot of those. You see, I am what the laymen would call a 'slut'. But I don't say it like it's a bad thing.

I'm sure they don't have the same reaction as me. They either scroll through

I'm late, but gorgeous pic as always. And it's not a bad thing having sex often and with varied people. Society deems a guy who sleeps with a lot of women a stud, but a woman a slut. That's fucked up and I always thought that line of thought was so hypocritical.
bearface:
If the woman looks like you, our mental dialogue is more of a self high five every time we scroll by your picture and remember.

I'll be shooting a new set within the next few weeks. Here's to hoping I don't look terrible!

That is the best SG news I have heard in forever! I can't wait!!!! Thank you thank you thank you

I managed to dig up a few down here who are interested in possibly shooting for the site, @korben. It really does suck though that the photographers I would love to work with are nowhere near us...

I'm in a pollen filled hell, but I am trying to make the best of it. I've been loving the warm weather and that the leaves now adorn the trees, but my sinuses have decidedly not been enjoying it. They are in revolt. Utter fucking revolt. I'm not letting them slow me down, however. Yesterday, the mister and I took Daisy Ann for a nice...

I've traveled so much in my life. When I was younger, I went where the wind took me. I was every bit a rolling stone. If I had been a Catholic, Christopher would have been my saint. I am now paying for much of the impulsivity I engaged in when I was in my early to mid twenties, and much of those impulsive acts included...

Something something darkside...something something complete...

I was still in my jammies and not wearing shoes this morning when I took little Daisy Ann for her pee in the yard. There was a woman next door leaving pamphlets in the neighbors mail box. She said hello to me and I said hello back. I'm friendly like that. She asked me if I wanted her to leave

I've always felt like atheism was basically a religion in and of itself. It doesn't have the lack of commitment to any real foundation of belief that agnosticism has; usually there is a strong belief in a lack of belief. And it has it's really obnoxious practitioners who can be every bit as overbearing and evangelical as your religious fundamentalists. It's always refreshing to find people like yourself who listen to others and can have an intelligent discussion about these things without having to tear others down. I agree that morality shouldn't be a consequence of the faith you were born in. Everyone has the capacity to be good to other people.

I work Tuesdays through Saturdays. Monday is my Sunday!

The best part about being home alone is being able to walk around my house buck fucking naked. The feeling of being able to go to the fridge and get a glass of cranberry juice whilst in my birthday suit is simply delicious, though the feeling of cold juice on my nipple isn't. To answer your...

Yeah, @ameline should definitely be pink by now. And I agree with you on the home alone part. I can't say I walk around naked, but sometimes I like just lounging around in my underwear and a t-shirt or something with a beer. I often joke with my friends that when I decide to co-habitate with a woman I won't be able to do the things I can do now, like farting freely ;) Hope your week is going good so far!
iggy:
@tmk, when you cohabitate with the right person you can totally fart at will and without any shame. That's how you know you found the right person to begin with!

1. I don't kill spiders. If I find them in my house or place of work I gently catch them and set them outside. My mother instilled this in me. "They eat the bad bugs," she always said. In fact, I saw one scurry across my kitchen floor this morning while I was eating my oatmeal and having my tea. I said hello to it...
