I'm in a pollen filled hell, but I am trying to make the best of it. I've been loving the warm weather and that the leaves now adorn the trees, but my sinuses have decidedly not been enjoying it. They are in revolt. Utter fucking revolt. I'm not letting them slow me down, however. Yesterday, the mister and I took Daisy Ann for a nice long walk in the neighborhood and it was quite lovely. By 'the neighborhood' I mean Plaza Midwood. It's like a miniature Brooklyn, only not as pretentious. Yet. (Yet being the key word there.)
I wish I knew more SG people in the Charlotte area. I'd put together a weekly game of kickball or capture the flag or some such. I think that would be an awesomely good time. And we could follow it with a few drinks at Common Market or something. I tried joining the local regional group, but I think the owner went MIA or some such as my application is still pending. Perhaps regional groups aren't as active or important as they used to be, but I'd still like to be able to check it out for myself, you know?
Le sigh.
I was excited to see another set from @ameline yesterday. The mister and I quite admired it. If you haven't checked it out yet, please do yourself a favor and take a look. It's pretty excellent. Seriously, that girl needed to go pink like yesterday. There are a handful of hopefuls here who I think fit the whole SG package and she is definitely one of them. I'm not trying to sound like I'm kissing her ass or anything. I just think she's neat.
And now for something completely different!
The original SG panties. I still got 'em.
They're old and well worn in. I wore them with beaming pride back in the day. They still fit, but I try to wear them sparingly these days. I don't want them to disintegrate on me. I feel that they're an important part of my personal history.
Me after my shower today. I hadn't showered in a few days because I'm a crusty bastard like that. However, my shower today felt quite glorious and delicious. I would say it felt like I was washing my sins away, but I don't think there is enough water in the world to properly achieve that.
