@esmic, New York is about 10 hours from Charlotte, so in the grand scheme of the USA it's not that far. I drive up there once a month for the animal rescue. Charlotte itself is a pretty fun little place. I like it. I've been to Edinburgh, when I was 17. I remember liking it but I think I would like it much more now that I'm older.
