This whole urban myth started with the statistical report that red cars get more speeding tickets, which they do. That, however, has nothing to do with the car or the driver and everything to do with the color red being more noticeable. Cops don't pick on red cars, the color red just draws more attention. Everybody speeds from time to time, it's just that those driving red cars get checked more often.
