Staying with friends in SF.....they had a sidewailk sale that was more entertainment than I haved had for a long time. We ended up using much of the stuff to beautify the street -
glued little glass fish to the top of a street sign, painted sidewalk and street with hand prints and other pics, hung a Corey Hames poster (i think thats his name)...

Run-on sentences are a must for that stream-of-consciousness thing. I write that way whenever I want to experiment . . . Gives it a sort of poetic-prose feel. The only time they're a nuisance is when we have to explain something. But when you can let yourself go, then hell, let yourself go.

it reminded me of when i used to live in my old house in the summer... i would go out to the backyard and have some drinks and smoke some weed, then i'd have some hits of nitrous and just lie in the sun, listening to what can only be described as the hum of everything.
there were orange trees there too, and my cat on the grass and i would spend time just looking at, and appreciating the little things around me.
