Went to the city today with my "dormies." I realized how I could really stay in this city forever. It's nice to have some girl time and just shop and look around without buying anything.
venice and i appreciate respectively the baby swallow that live in our dorm's archway. I wish i had a cool camera lens so I could take pictures of them surviving despite the weekly hurricane of noise, beer, ciggarette smoke, and broken glass that is College.
i sat up on the roof yesterday for like, 3 hours with my buddies who jammed on their guitars, and... Read More

today is the first day of school ! (the real, learning part that is). I don't care waht you say, i will always love the first day of school, where the clothes are new, the pencils are sharp, and you still want to take like 3 pages of notes at a time. Me and my roomie went on the swings today!
I'm having some bank... Read More
You know, the seniors this year? Didn't sing. Wally was away, and they didn't sing. I couldn't believe it. They're like math majors who never learned to juggle.
I realized this today about myself - that all this collegiate anebriation isn't really fun unless there is some 100% guaranteed play at the end of it. There's really no point to any of it unless I'm among dear friends or getting lots of ass all night long with someone I trust and love. And that, my friends, is why i am here at 2:10... Read More

I'm writing from my brand-new dorm room on my new computer that i set up, amazingly, all by myself I've been itching to get on SG for days, and I'm glad I finally figured it out.

But on the good side, I do get to wave my middle finger high and say a sweet goodbye to my shitty suburban nightmare of a hometown. I just wish I could take boy and my friends and my... Read More
home is a strange place, after two years it's already just a place to store my past and find nostalgia.
what i left behind, i will always return to. i can't replace any of it, i can only hope to never repeat it. and so it's not starting over, it's moving on.
it's tough as fuck to do, and only now am i beginning to see why...
but trust me, although it may feel lonely at first, you'll learn more about yourself than you ever thought possible... and THAT is worth everything. rock on, good luck.
It's so humid today, I'm sticking to myself.
So many things to do, not enough time to do them ... I'm leaving tomorrow for college. Packing's not so hard since I'm such a pro at it, having moved out to the apartment and back in, and then out for my summer job and back in again. I feel very uprooted, like I'm being torn away... Read More
Good luck with the move! I know what you mean about feeling uprooted. Since I moved to Toronto, my Mom has sold the house I grew up in and moved in with her boyfriend. So now whenever I go home, not only am I not in "my house", but it also doesn't feel like HER house. It jus doesn't feel like home at all.
I think you'll enjoy it here. Good luck, and if you see a hot drunk guy with a bottle of Jack Daniels walkin around embarrassing himself during Orientation Week, say "Hi Dunx!"
Are you enjoying school so far?
*passes the pretzels*
Glad u had a nice time hanging with your frinds.
