Yes, these are very astute observations. I think in conversation - we are always translating. There is also always the temptation to try to impress - so we think - instead of listen and many interrupt - rather that lose our response. Many conversations are dual monologues. It is hard to find someone to talk to that really give one the golden conversation, where we feel comfortable to share our thoughts.
I am attracted to people "who think too much". I think it is good - you still wish to try to express your thoughts.
