Hi,
So I got this small indented scar on my right cheek one year ago and despite 2 laser treatments, it's still visible and I really hate it. So I'm considering getting a beauty mark tattoo on it, but I'm not sure that's possible.

I have tattoo's over a few scars (self harm) but they're only noticeable if you look really close and i honestly can't remember if it was more painful when it went over it or not (sorry) but if you wanted to go for a "hunt for the scar" it would be my lower left wrist where the rose sits and my top right thigh in the black roses :) bet you struggle to see them :P xxxx

But everyone's scars and bodies and tattooers are different. Consult with your professional tattooer and see what s/he says. Even then, there are no guarantees as to how your body will react. You won't know until you try....
Yeah, I should add that I honestly didn't think mine would turn out anywhere near as good as it did, neither did the tattooist. But I figured 'can't really get any worse'...

I discussed it with my tatooist and he reckons I can have what I want done. Before though I'm going to have a go with those skin patches to see if they can help with the scars being raised at all.

Someone told me that this cant be done, or that artists wont do it... is this true?
because alot of my back is scar tissue from years of bad acne....
and my bf and i both used to be cutters so we have some stuff wed like to get covered …

The artist didn't say anything about it, just tattooed right over it. It was my first tattoo and I didn't think it would make a difference to go over a scar.
It hurt the most tattooing over the scar, it almost felt like it was tugging the skin, but even at it's most, it still didn't hurt that much, and it held ink just fine. It's been there for almost four years now and isn't faded.
I realize it always depends on the person, but my tattooed scar is just fine

some of the scars on my feet are tattooed over very nicely. It hurt like a bitch, but the color took.

I got a nasty scar on my leg, the cut was 2" deep and 3" long. I tattooed around it leaving the scar visable but tiring it into art. It made it look much better imo
@jubblyjake been there, done that...no difference :( but thx for the suggestion :/
