@leighgabriel thank you! I can't remember which dunes those were (we went to like... 6 different dunes in a road trip in the south west states) but it was such a blast.

I need to get out more. I'd never heard of Mara Jade until you mentioned her here. 😮 My Star Wars experience is the films and TV series, an annual odyssey in themselves. My reading has always been mainstream science fiction dating from the golden age (Asimov, Bear, Clarke, Harrison, Niven, et al) and my gameplay is limited to the Myst and Tomb Raider franchises by choice: I don't like having to kill everything in sight, even in play. But then, my Star Trek experience is also limited to the films and TV series. Where not reading those books or playing those games was a choice, my Star Wars omission was simply not knowing all that additional material existed. Imagine my shame. Meanwhile, I love your photos!
