Had to come back to this thread because I remembered popping in while I was struggling to quit in 2021 - happy to say that I've been nicotine-free for three and a half years now! 2021 was extremely challenging but I ended up getting very sick with covid and spending the 2022 new year in quarantine, which I took as the perfect opportunity to quit. I already felt like crap and needed to give my lungs a break in order to recover faster, and it turned out to be a great idea. You don't really care about quitter's flu when you're already sick as a dog! So I celebrate my quit-anniversary every January. I still deal with cravings and temptation even over three years later, but I know it's just not worth it. If anyone is struggling to quit or stay nicotine-free, I definitely know what that's like and how unbelievably difficult it can be, but if I can do it you absolutely can too. We got this!!
