Another pretty quiet weekend.
Went to Russell's for a bit of a poker/beer session.
Didn't come last in either game so I was relieved. Christ I even took a few people out. Got in amongst the money (my stake) in the second game.
Got home at the back of 4 which is a good sign.
Was fucking knackered this morning though.
Walked into town to be faced by shit-loads of Orangemen.
I hate this shit. It's one of the things that kills this fine city.
We live in a city of permanent religious hatred and the only way to stop it is to put an end to this kind of nonsense.
They all started singing 'Championiees' in their Rangers tops. Makes me ashamed to be a Rangers fan. They were all a bunch of yobs. The kind you see at England International football matches.
I actually felt intimidated because I was the only green wearing person in the crowd (as I walked through it). At least there was a decent amount of police on show.
I feel like writing an angry letter to both my Westminster MP and my Scottish Parliament MP to try to get this shit stopped.
If it was a march to celebrate a battle against the Muslims during the Crusades it would get stopped - why is it different to celebrate victory over Catholics.
Fuckers the lot of them.
The affect it had on traffic out the town was disturbing as well.
Rant over.
