what's up everyone... sorry for the lack of participation on this site. trips home always have a chilling effect on my ability to interact online. i want to say that it's the dial-up thing, but that would be wrong.

i guess i tend to focus more on real-life when i'm home b/c i'm so rarely ever here. i like the take time to soak in these once familiar surroundings while i still have some kind of memory that ties me to this everchanging place. familiar faces have moved on. buildings that i used to know are now gone. the more time i spend here, i begin to realize that this place will soon change to such a degree that i will lose all connection with it. it will no longer be my home. it will simply become a former residence.

it's kinda funny, i used to think that this could never be, that my home would cease to be my home. but so much has changed in the past 10 years, that now that this place is changing, i don't think too much of this eventuality. it's not the end of the world...

so for now i am enjoying the time i still have with this place. so please forgive my online absence. i have a good excuse.
