Not many things are better than the simple pleasures of good food, a bit of wine, and talking late into the night with a good friend.
We swooped down out of the north and took advantage of the glorious local seafood for a couple of days. Quiet this time of year. Side trip to Ferrara, the city of the bicycle. Glad to finally have been introduced to proper Limoncella. Living well for as long as we can.... Banged it out over the Brenner pass, back to the cold of Deutschland and called it a success.
