I just started my computer up. I turn it off when I'm not using it because being on for too long freaks it out.

while starting up, it gave me a long, low beep-- not the quick, cute beep that means hello, but the cranky ogre of a beep.

(pets the computer gently)

sorry my count down timer didn't work. I don't know what's up with that.
