Medication is actually why I lost weight. I'm on two different medications that are appetite suppressants. I take 60 of adderol. 20 is even considered a high dose, and it suppresses the appetite even at doses as low as ten. I'm also on a medication called Topamax, which is actually normally prescribed as a diet pill. They've found out though that it works very well as an anxiety medication, and a preventative one you can take on a daily basis. It isn't like Klonopin or other anxiety medicines that you take when you feel an attack coming on, to stop it, it isn't a Tranq. It's also not addictive like a lot of those medicines. It has helped me SO much. I rarely have panic attacks anymore, and amazingly I don't get super frustrated when I get stuck in traffic in the car, which was a big problem. I didn't have road rage, but I would get super impatient and panicky.
But now I can't eat. I eat at MOST 1,000 calories a day, when I was definitely eating more than 2k before.
I still have a super awesome letter/goody bag/package I need to send you. I am awesome at writing mail, and suck at sending it.
Though this time it has been because of lack of money, and not forgetting.
yup I lost a bunch on topamax. But it's really an epilepsy med. I am on the 200 mg a day. I have been taking for over a year for migraines. If I suddenly stop with out tapering I will have a huge migraine to the point of having to head to the ER. Yikes!
