I am really happy. ridiculously so. I could cry I am so happy.

at the same time, I wonder how we do anything or care about anything knowing that it will end, that we will die.

If we sit here and do nothing, it's a loooooong trip. Spend two minutes doing nothing - no reading, nothing, then spend 2 minutes doing something fun. Which went "faster"?

term two starts on tuesday. the whole school thing is still surreal.

just because it's not defined doesn't mean it's casual.

and I'm being terrible at the internet. it fell pretty far down the priority list.

I did my first glaze firing (in my own kiln) yesterday. I really want to open it up and see what stuff looks like, but, you know....

let's heat rocks up until they glow for sixteen hours and then see how quickly we can touch them!
