The "YOUR PICTURES SUCK." topic in the SG Hopefuls group has people believing more than ever that the reason they weren't succesful in their application is because of bad lighting, bad poses, facial expressions or that they 'look' bored/uncomfortable.
The topic starts out well, the introductory post is great but what I've read of the rest of it isn't as good. Circle-Jerking and arguing things that don't have conclusions.
One post by a girl had her suggesting that everyone should congratulate those you feel are ugly just for getting naked, as if it was some great task they had just overcome.
(Part of her post reminded me a lot of a certain '3 times lucky?' topic some of you may have seen.)
What could have been good thread turned to shit yet again by a few idiots.
I think I'm going to get off my ass and read a few books I've been meaning to for a while now. Catch-22 which for some reason I just couldn't read more of after a certain point in the book and a few others that have been sitting, waiting to be read.
Job wise I think I might just apply to the RAF and see where that goes while I apply to other jobs, I've run out of time [when time = money] to sit around and be able to say no to applying to a certain job. Right now that 6 night a week bakers job sounds pretty sweet, shame I didn't get called in for that. I got a date for an interview for a 'Instrument repair' course at Anniesland College in Glasgow, it just struck me today that even if I was 100% sure I wanted to do the course I probably won't be able to afford to live in Glasgow to study it.
Today I re-ignited my love of steel-cut oats, when it comes around to a bulk I know I'm going to be a happy chap.
PS - Pot sucks.
