Frodo, my 6 year old corgi, is sick.
I don't know what I'm going to do with myself if he dies.
I've had animals all my life, and I'm praying as much as a failing Catholic can that he will be alright, but I am well acquainted with the terrible truth that pets die.
Even well loved and cared for ones..
His whole body just started shaking earlier this afternoon.
He looks sluggish.. His eyes wont open all the way, and he can't or wont get up.
Whenever he does try, like when one of the cats walked through the living room or someone comes to the door, he just lifts his head and kind of spasms..
But he's not whimpering as though in pain, his breathing is normal, he ate a little chicken when we offered it earlier, and he doesn't have anything else apparently wrong with him.
He's just not moving or acting right..
I don't know what to make of it.
We left him in the living room with some water close by in case he gets thirsty.
I just hope he's better in the morning..
