ugh, smog checks. i had to have them test my truck at least 3 times before it barely passed. so i figure it has a couple more years? ... or at least i'm hoping.

wah.

your three things list was rad. it makes me so happy when people make up interesting ones. yeah, i'm easily amused like that.

so yesterday i was all whiney and emo. it's not like i'm depressed about being single or saying to myself "why won't somebody love me? i'm so alone" blah, blah, blah. fuck that shit. i got over that a while ago. yes it would be nice to have a girlfriend, but i'm not desperate to get one. if i was i'd still be with one...

Apple store-- not bad. I always figured if poverty comes roaring around the corner for me, I will, rather that getting a job at a fast food place and loving it, get a job at a movie theatre, as an usher, or tearing tickets. No really, that's pretty bitchin.

To alleviate your ennui, I suggest going down to that K-Mart in Eagle Rock, asking one of the employees out on a date, (I mean, why not go out with a non-alternative-lifestyle-type for once?), and taking her to a picnic at the Huntington Library or the horse races?? I used to do that alot.

Just kidding-- I think I just miss L.A.

Yeah, the party was killer. Thanks.

Take it easy.

Well, we're mammals--social beings. It's part of our nature. We're born into and are raised within social relationships.

And being content by oneself is a different experience that being content with another person. Saying that people ought to learn to be happy by oneself is almost an excuse for one's incapability for intimacy.

I had a small problem Friday morning involving coughing up lots and lots and lots of blood. My rommate dialed 911, and I went to the ER. Once there, they decided to keep me around for the weekend for observation. The bleeding stopped, and I seem to be fine, so they sent me home.

i rented Garden State, I'm excited. Have you seen it? I love Natalie Portman.

I'm going to make some muffins now.

So far the trip has been a lot of fun. I'm leaving tomorrow night, but getting some people together at a Mexican restaurant in Long Beach for lunch before my flight.

Sin City was inredible. It's the first time I've been watching a movie in a theater and I knew it would be a classic. My friend's grandkids will be talking about that movie.

so i'm all emotionally drained. just got home a while ago from watching 3 very tragic movies. phantom of the opera, finding neverland and dont' move. all were good, but so tragic. one can only take so much. phantom was visually stunning. the sets were lavish and the music was beautiful and haunting. what made it better is that i had never seen the play...
