what a lovely day it was today! work was slow as usual. one load, one load check and one FTP problem that no one else could solve (n00bs 
). rather than go insane with boredom i took another half day. drove home, went to the bank then went to trader joe's to buy a plant. not just any plant a, but a passion vine. a passion vine with blue flowers i've decided to namer her ivy. can't wait for her vines to grow and wrap around the rail. 
speaking of plants my other ones are doing good. i decided to name my red apple ringo (it's japanese for apple). he seems to be adjusting to his new home rather well. i swear his stems are longer now. scarlet and bree (my california coastal redwood and my sequoia) are doing well, even scarlet who throws a tantrum whenever it gets cold. they're growing so much! pretty soon i'm gonna have to start training them with copper wire. i hope i do it right. my two other plants are doing good. rufus (i think that's his name
) is growing alot. no flowers yet, but for all i know he could be a big weed 
the cobra lily is still green, so i guess that's good. not sure how to take care of those but he's alive so i guess i'm doing something good
anyway, after i bought ivy i came home left a message to my friend julie to see if she wanted to do something. she didn't call back so i took a nap. when i got up i decided it was too pretty a day to stay in so i went back to barney's. if you're wondering why i've been spending so much time there it's cause they have a rule: drink all 80 beers they have on a list and your name goes on a plaque on the wall
i'm about a 3rd of the way done and i have till november. i have a feeling i'm gonna spend alot time there this summer 
found out that they did find my check card 
does me no good now as i already cancelled it. oh well
on wed i went to a gallery opening at the ivar in hollywood. sara, one of the pierces at prix has some artwork up there so althea, jed and i went down to show support. the theme was the 7 deadly sins. it was a rather interesting night, mostly because the exhibit resembled an industrial club. i wish i had known this, i would have dressed a little different. still had a good time though afterwards we went to another bar and stayed till closing time
looking back, i guess i had a pretty busy week. i wonder if this is how all of my summer is gonna be like?
