So I have a few facts that I'd like to point out. I'm not totally sure how current they are, but they are incredible and I think this kind of thing deserves a little more attention from all of the "blind" eyes in this world.
1 in 4 women are sexually assulted in their lifetime.
Every 9 seconds a woman is abused.
These facts only include the United States, (maybe only Colorado) I got them off of a bathroom stall in a gas station from a non-profit org.
Now, my old band "Lower Your Standards" wrote and played a song about this. Listen to a clip here.
But be warned ahead of time, this is an extremely shitty recording, being that it was recorded in a friends living room with a mini-disk player and one microphone. (we weren't planning on recording anything, we were just practicing). I guess if you think about it it's pretty good under the circumstances.
Anyway, an update on my so called life:
Working a lot, fed up with corporate bull shit, going to quit my job if I'm not upgraded to manager, cut my hair (pictures to come) starting a new band with
tireironsaint, went snowboarding today and the snow was shitty, excited about going to Viva Las Vegas, hmm. I guess that's it for now.
Oh, and I hate people

I try not to think about the abuse rate, it scares me, since I have a daughter. I just try to teach her to be strong and independent and when she a wee older how to defend herself, as for me ..I dont really worry about me.
