This is kind of how I feel today:
I need to move.
I live in Florida and I hate it.
I was born in Providence, Rhode Island and I'm just genetically wired to experience cold weather and seasonal transition. The changing of leaves, the smell of woodsmoke, layered clothes along with shit road conditions, scraping ice off your windows and all the annoyances.
I'm a surgeons assistant, so finding employment isn't that terribly hard. It means I need to stick near larger cities for the most part but I'm okay with that.
I don't have a wife or kids, so I'm pretty mobile.
I do have Bones but, as a cat he offers little to no input as to where we live -- as long as it has a litter box and he's provided with Edy's ice cream, he's solid. See he's even okay with the laptop usage:
Also, it HAS to have bike polo. Has to, has to, has to -- it's my major outlet for stress.
With those few things to consider I just haven't figured out where yet.
I've traveled to Boston, NYC, Pittsburgh and rural Mississippi this year alone. I loved Boston, truly. Loved NYC too. Pittsburgh can suck it but I like PA in general. Mississippi, as a whole, can suck it.
I've never been west but I want to see Denver and I want to see Seattle.
I also want to see Portland.
I VERY much want to visit Canada just not sure where yet.
I have little interest in southern California (too much like Florida) but northern California has its appeal.
I'm not very sure what this blog has to offer today; I think I'm just pretty much just putting words to "paper" so as to provide a conducive diatribe for later analysis.
Okay. that helped vent a little frustration.
So, where have you/do you live and why should I relocate there?
I'd normally just call Alex and ask but he's busy:

Regarding the carnage -- if I can look at enough of it, I can escape creating it.
That's the theory. It works about 60/40.
