I've learned three significant things in the past 24 hours:

1) There are actually people out there geekier then me ... and I'm friends with one of those people. This is good.

2) Waking up alone after sharing a bed with someone for three years is a lonely experience, to say the least. This is bad.

3) They have new holiday spiced chai at the local coffee joint. This is divine.


You often hear the statement, "Change is good". Fine. I'm willing to accept that on a basic level simply because that when your environment acts as a catalyst, you, in response to said catalyst, are forced into action.
Action, in and of itself, is a positive thing because it keeps you from stagnating.
And it is also the only positive thing about my current situation in life.

So, okay, I'll go with it and save the kicking and screaming for some other time.

No more depressing, gloomy, anti-social posts. I'm done. Time to move on.

Although I still think whomever made famous the aforementioned "change is good" quote is an ultimate asshole, mind you ...
