Today was such a strange day! To be honest, the last few weeks have been so strange for me. I know that there is a lot of things around me that are changing- the seasons for instance. But, there are also a lot of things internally that I think are changing for me that I know I really need to spend some time with. I've somewhat fallen away from my yoga practice- while I teach at least 3 classes a week, it rare for me to have the time anymore to get on my mat. For a long time I've been beating myself up over not being dedicated, but I know that isn't the answer. And I know that when I need it most, my practice is there for me. I know I'll get back to it. I just can't help but feel like I'm letting myself down by not making it more of a priority. To be honest though, working as much as I do, having 5 animals, a fiance, friends and a family... It's really fucking difficult to make time for anything! I really feel though that come the beginning of the year I will be able to make some big changes- I know I have the choice, so just making those things happen and choosing myself is what I have to focus on come the new year. I did make the choice to do a quick practice before my class on Sunday. Here's a photo I snapped đź’•
Today work was SO SLOW. I think after the shopping rush of Black Friday and then Cyber Monday, everyone decided to stay away from the mall and take it easy on their wallets. Until next payday at least! I know I really need to start my Christmas shopping! Ugh, what a drag that is going to be! Haha I really love gift giving but the stress that builds up during the holidays can be a little much!
My favorite thing about this time of year is watching The Grinch! Haha The Grinch is my favorite Christmas movie for sure! I also love to spend the extra time with my friends and family. I am such a strong believer in family and friendship. I always try to do my best to keep those that mean a lot to me close, and to make sure to let them know they're loved.
