Early morning, wake up call. I'm alive. The air is cool. My coffee is warm. As I sit here on the patio with my fiancé I am overwhelmed with feelings of gratitude. For her, and her love. For the home which we have created together and filled with love and acceptance. A safe space for us, for our animals, and for anyone who walks in our door. For the big and beautiful mimosa tree that shades our patio. A little hidden bungalo beneath fuzzy pink blossoms. A home to all of my favorite critters, the bees and the hummingbirds. A space where they feel safe, a space for them to call home. I watch a bee pollinating a flower. Dancing it's small body all across its momentary pink dance floor. He's working hard, but having fun. Yes. That's what I want from life. I want to work hard, I want to have fun, I want to serve my purpose. Sometimes it's hard for us to find our purpose, or maybe if you're like me, your purpose is known, almost like a badge you wear in style, but the path to choose is still uncertain in your view. I know I'm meant to help others. My purpose is to share the beauty and love with the world. And today I embark on a journey where I am able to bring a group of people together, to connect, to grow, to laugh and smile and love, but most importantly to support and uplift one another. This platform of Suicide Girls is what you make it. But to me, I see this as a space for self love and acceptance, a space to meet like minded people and to embrace what you love- no matter how weird or uncommon it may be. It's a place to be who you are, no fucks given. But I also see it as a place for community. A place where women especially, but men as well can respectfully lift each other up. We are here to share good vibes, at least I am and I've already met a handful of people who have chosen that same goal. So, this morning as I prepare for my travels to California for our SoCal Shootfest, I am overwhelmed with love and happiness. I am thankful for each and every one of you who have shared positivity with me here on SG. This weekend I will be able to share a small piece of my purpose and my passion. Thank you ❤️ Xo, Zen
