I stayed late after drawing class lastnight to complete some inking on an assignment; had good conversation with a young guy who stayed to finish his sketch. We talked about music reality and the beyond. It's the first connection I've made with anyone that actually promises to be a cool person since I started school again.
around 1am a friend popped up to say hi. I've known her for about three years, maybe four. She's from jersey, but goes to school at GWU in DC. She's been fluttering around with random guys all semester. she says she is tired of dunbass guys. I told her to find a girl to play with. She's bi and really cool, but has a hard time finding girls to be with. I started telling her about a particular cool girl I am friends with on SG. Showed her a picture from the SGer's set. She was like WOW!!! she's thinks this SGer is quite pretty would luv to hookup with her, but they live like 3 hours apart. I can't believe I am trying to play booty hookup for my female friends. What the hell am I doing?
Anyway, my teacher left her radiohead Kid A cd for us to listen to while we stayed after. She asked me to bring it to her today in class. When I opened the case, there was another CD inside, Disk three of WHY NOT sessions or something, more RADIOHEAD!!! Stuff I didn't have....so I am listening to it now. YAY!
I need to update my profile picture. I don't have a beard anymore, nor the ocean as my backdrop. Damn. I need to drive to the coast to just watch the waves. It's so incredibly peaceful.

Maybe it's just my politik coming through. It's the "bacon on everything" that really caught my attention... too much of a good thing? There's a reason organic meat is sooo expensive. The reason is that we don't pay the true price of factory meat in many ways, ecological and otherwise.

If bacon tastes good (i agree), I feel like venison tastes better. And since we killed off all the wolves these past 200-odd years, the deer and elk are wrecking havoc on our forests. Predators are necessary within natural systems. If we're gonna eat meat, we would do best to be those predators, and predators never eat too much
I guess my appeal is for living within, and not on top of, our frame, ecological and otherwise.
