Woke up at 6 am - the earliest in 6 months maybe? Spent the day in the field picking up all those pesky groundwater monitors and bringing them home for good. No more Bosque del Apache, which is kinda sad. No more Lemitar, which is really nice.

It's cold and gray here again. I miss spring, again. The hops vines are pushing up, the greenhouse is already seriously overheated and full of white flies, and maybe it will snow this week. Man, I'm so ready for spring, but WAIT, New Mexico doesn't really have spring! It's straight from late winter to early summer. Well, I guess i'll take what i can get.

I just picked up a sweet little 2003 sony digicam for cheap on ebay - just old enough to still have "negative art", and new enough to capture video. My saturday night/ sunday morning of reading reviews (hopefully) paid off.
