Took a day or two away from the computer, been watching a tun of movies. I got the Blockbuster Movie Pass, and been having a hay day of watching movies. For those that havent heard of the movie pass. Its kind of like NetFlicks, you pay like 16 bucks, and can rent 2 movies at any given time as much as you want in a month. Just take em back and get new ones, or hold onto them as long as you want within that month.

Finally shoped in a Super Target, OMG . They need those walkavators . That store makes Walmart look small. It even had a Starbucks.

Movies I have watched thus far:

I robot - not bad, actually prety damn good for a movie that I though would suck. I gave it a B

Spiderman 2 - Liked it better then the first one, the special effects are crazy.

Fareinhiet 9/11 - Life changing, does what super size me did for food to politics. I think Bush should be tried for war crimes now. Hurray. A

Anchorman - Damn funny, yet cheesy, go figure.. its got Will Ferral in it. Its gonna have more cheese then Kraft B
.
Elf - I wish I had seen thsi at xmas, a classic. B+

Troy - Brad Pitt was a awesome fighter in this, the best I have seen. But, I think he did for the Spartans, what Ben Afflick did for Pearl Harbour. One man does not change the face of battle alone! C-

Napleon Dynomight - Umm its been like 3 days , and I still am not sure if I like this movie or not. Was it good or bad, or just so so. I honestly truthfully, am still in thought over this one. Funny, cheesy, weird, stupid? I just dont know. Grade pending

Found the recipe I have been looking for !! Kick ass !! I am gonna bust my ass to learn how to master this dish. It will be my offical " Honey , Im sorry let me make it up to you , so I can get out of the dog house dish" !!

Here it is .

Carrabba's Italian Grill Pollo Rosa Maria

Posted by Chef Chad in Houston, TX at recipegoldmine.com

Chicken
4 chicken breasts, split for stuffing
4 slices prosciutto ham
1/2 cup Fontina cheese

Lemon Butter
1/2 cup clarified butter
3 cloves garlic
1/2 small yellow onion, diced
1/4 cup white wine
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
1/2 teaspoon white pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt

Topping
8 ounces sliced mushrooms
1/2 cup fresh sweet basil, chopped
Lemon Butter Recipe (above)
1 lemon, juiced

Chicken: Open chicken breasts and place butterfly-style on grill over white-hot coals of live oak and pecan wood. Grill 3-5 minutes per side or until cooked through. Remove from grill. When chicken is cool enough to handle, hold breast halves together and stuff each breast with one slice of prosciutto and 1/8 cup Fontina cheese. Secure with wooden picks. Set aside in a warm place.

Lemon Butter and Topping: In a large saut pan over medium heat, combine clarified butter, garlic, and onion and saut until tender. Deglaze pan with white wine. Add unsalted butter, salt, and pepper. Add mushrooms to lemon butter and saut 1 to 2 minutes or until cooked. Add basil and lemon juice and stir to combine. Place chicken on a serving platter and top with mushrooms in lemon-basil butter and serve.

Yields 4 servings.

We did go the show, it was really good! But, frown we left early because my date was tired. He also was in a crabby mood. I would rather have gone alone because I felt bad that he felt bad. I can see the band again; they are local and play just about every week. biggrin

I robot - not bad, actually prety damn good for a movie that I though would suck. I gave it a B - I fel the same exact way about this movie. I thought it was going to be so freakin' retarded and ended up enjoying it. kiss

I have a clear idea of what I what the band to be like. I was always reluctant in the past to start a band because my voice is so prestine. I actually just learned how to do disruption and raspiness last year. My voice has a tendency to be too perfect sometimes. Like, I was always supposed to be this poppy-ish singer because that is where my voice and my look fit. I had blonde hair. I hate blonde hair. I was called "barbie" in high school. It is interesting to me how much people treat me differently just because I changed my hair. So, anyway, the point is that I always wanted to start a band, but didn't think anyone would want me because of the above factors. So, I go to shows all the time and I finally went to see this band play that I have meaning to see for a year or so. It is fronted by a female and she gets to sing. It is like punk-jazz-rock. I was watching thinking to myself, "I need to start a band." If she can I can. I don't want to do the same thing. I just don't want to scream. I am not a screamer I am a singer. Also, I want to use as much of my range as possible. My voice is very strong and I LOVE using it all. I can compose simple bases to songs on the piano. I just need help with composition and what-not. I think some people start bands to be famous. Thats notwhy for me. I would be content to be a little indie band that finds just enough success, but I never have wanted lavish things. It is all about music. And my emotional health. I have things I need to express. Thanks for all the advice! I really appreciate it! I am going to stop rambling now...
