edited to add: speaking of various media, like your taste in music and movies. why is it no one loves the movie _birth_? i own it and re-watch it. (hence, it deserves more acclaim.) in fact, i'm going to fall asleep to it right now. (need distraction to sleep - now even that's a multi-tasking production. what's left? nothing.)

oh how wonderful it would be to spend an afternoon in a pub.. i tend to close them down at night... (as in, stay until closing time, when they put the chairs up on the tables... ) but that would be very good..


as for compiling your favourite CD's of the last year... do they have to have come out in the last year? or just be CD's that were thuroughly enjoyed throughout the last year??

Well, I'm trying to do that too but I usually don't listen to that many new cds, and half of the ones I do hear isn't good enough to be on a BEST OF list anyway. we'll see if i can come up with a list later...
